HISTORICAL NOTE

The Womanís Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Edgar, Nebraska, was established about 1885. The church itself had organized formally in September of 1873. The Womanís Foreign Missionary Society devoted its efforts to the support of mission work in foreign countries.

SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of one minute book, 1892-1903, of the Womanís Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Edgar, Nebraska. The minutes relate to the monthly meetings of the Society and its work in support of overseas missionary work.
