SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of a composition book containing minutes of meetings of the junior/senior class at the Nebraska State Normal School in Peru, Nebraska. The entries date from 1902-1904 and include names of students and their offices. Subjects discussed during the class meetings include class yells, motto, class flower, class pin/ring, class play, and whether or not to give the college a memorial. This composition book was originally kept by Mary S. Hurst, aunt of Charles W. Hurst, and Helen Lucile Walworth, mother of Charles W. Hurst, while they attended the Nebraska State Normal School.
