SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The collection consists of 29 letters (photocopies only) dating from 1899-1915, primarily written to Ella and Grace Eggleston of Callaway, Nebraska. The letters were written by friends and relatives from Naponee, Bloomington, Lamont, Prentice, Lena, and Kearney, Nebraska. The letters discuss family and community news. Accompanying one of the letters is a copy of a newspaper account of the marriage of Sara Helen to Volney G. Douglass.
