The collection consists of a handwritten reminiscence (photocopy only) by Herman D. Buhrmann describing his family settling in Lancaster County, Nebraska; farm life; recreational activities; WWI and WWII; travels; etc. The reminiscence was written in 1952-1953 and consists of 118 pages plus several pages of song lyrics, etc.
