This collection consists of two reels of negative microfilm containing 26 diaries kept by John Walter Bassett. These diaries relate to crop conditions, weather, domestic life, and financial records. Bassett lived on a farm all of his life, and began his diaries when he was a school boy, recording day-to-day occurrences.
