SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The collection consists of a day book for the grocery store owned by Julius F. Kemble of Lincoln, Nebraska. The day book entries date from 1868-1871 and include the names of purchasers, what they bought, and how much they paid. Also included in the volume are the April 1881 grades for Edith Kemble and three home remedies for a cough mixture, "eye water," and a recipe for "horse founder."
