SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of reminiscences of Lillian A. Elliot, written in 1947-1954. The materials relate to the early history and settlement of the Elkhorn River Valley in Cuming County, Nebraska, and to a grasshopper plague in the early 1870s.

The photo component [RG2693.PH] consists of photographic prints and negatives, 1853-1903 and undated. Photographs relate to early settlers and towns in the Elkhorn River Valley in Cuming County, Nebraska.
