This collection consists of a reminiscence entitled, "I Lived in Soddies," by Minnie Rundall Delimont. She and her family settled near Orleans in Harlan County, Nebraska, in 1880. She writes about her youth and describes in detail the construction of the sod houses and dugouts they lived in. The reminiscences also describe the construction of water wells, schools in the area, and the plants that grew on the prairie.
