SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

This collection consists of papers, mainly relating to Cherny's participation in the Boy Scouts of America, Cornhusker Council and the Golden Sun Lodge, Order of the Arrow (the scouting honor society). The materials date from ca. 1956-1963 and include newsletters, flyers, leadership manuals, reports, etc. Also included are a training manual and completion certificate for the U.S. Air Force's Ground Observer Corps training course.
