SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The manuscript portion of the collection consists mostly of correspondence between Robert Elliot and various family members dating from 1860-1904. The letters discuss farm life, weather, crops, family news, etc. Also included are a few newspaper clippings.

Note: The photo component [RG5667.PH] consists of nine (9) photographs relating to the R.M. Elliot family of Auburn, Nebraska. Items include one (1) 8x10 tintype, five (5) group portraits, two (2) snapshots, and one (1) photographic postcard.
