This collection [formerly MS0647] consists of items relating to Samuel Avery's appointment as a member of the International Commission provided for in the treaty between the United States and Sweden for the advancement of peace, signed at Washington, October 13, 1914. Included in the collection are certificates, speeches and clippings.
