Wayne C. Lee was born in Lamar, Nebraska. Until 1951 he was a farmer, and he noted "writing had to be just a spare-time hobby." Upon becoming a rural mail carrier out of the Lamar post office, he devoted more time to writing. Though he did not receive a degree, he took correspondence courses from the University of Nebraska and a writing course in a summer session at Western State College, in Colorado.
SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE
The collection consists of three boxes of published articles dating from 1954-1965. The stories are directed toward young people and have religious overtones.
