SCOPE AND CONTENT NOTE

The manuscript portion of this collection consists of the "Record" written by William R. Loring. It includes biographical information about Loring and his wife, Jane Mickey Loring, and the birth dates of the Loring children. The family was in Beatrice, Nebraska, ca. 1886-1887, moved to Colorado, and returned to Pawnee City, Nebraska, in 1888 or 1889.
