The Nebraska Memorial Association was organized in January of 1912, to work in cooperation with the Oregon Trail Memorial Commission, the Nebraska State Historical Society, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Grand Army of the Republic, the Nebraska Territorial Pioneers' Association, and all other organizations working for the preservation of historical sites and the commemoration of historical events in Nebraska.


This collection consists of one box of records of the Nebraska Memorial Association. The bulk of this collection consists of correspondence of only incidental interest. Correspondents include: August F. Kliese, 1910; Clarence Sumner Paine, 1910-1912; Robert Harvey, 1910; and Addison E. Sheldon, 1917. The minutes and reports relate to information about historical sites and monuments.
