Marriage Records

The Library/Archives holds marriage records for 86 of the state's 93 counties. These often date back to the county's origin. The county marriage records held are:

As this database expands, you are likely to be able to find marriage record citations for people of interest.

Requests, with payment, are accepted by mail, and credit card orders can be phoned to (402)-471-4751.
We do not take online orders.

When an exact citation is provided (i.e. county name, date, name of at least one of the contracting parties, volume number, and page), cost is $10/record ($5 to Nebraska State Historical Society members or Nebraska residents; if the latter, please include appropriate sales tax).
