Ben Castinado Jr.


Ben Castinado

Born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, in 1936, Ben Castinado is an excellent source of history for the area. His parents immigrated to the United States around 1915, the time of the Mexican Revolution. Mr. Castinado related that his father (seen in the framed photograph he is holding) had ridden with Pancho Villa and for that reason was forced to leave Mexico.

Nacido en Scottsbluff, Nebraska, en 1936, Ben Castinado Jr. constituye un caudal de conocimiento en lo que a la historia del área se refiere. Sus padres emigraron a los Estados Unidos alrededor de 1915, durante la Revolución Mexicana. El señor Castinado contó que su padre (cuyo retrato sostiene) había cabalgado con Pancho Villa y por esa razón se vieron forzados a dejar México.
