The National Committee
on Boys' and Girls' Club Work was formed in 1921, to coordinate
private support on behalf of 4-H- type programs. In 1923 the
committee began publishing The National Boys' and Girls' Club
News the predecessor to the National 4-H News. In 1977, the organization
merged with the National 4-H Foundation to form the National
4-H Council.
