Cockroaches and Cows Now Safe from Fallout 

In 1963 the Roberts Dairy Company of Omaha conducted a two-week survival test for thirty-five cows, one bull, and two unfortunate university students in a concrete cattle fallout shelter on its farm at Elkhorn. Thank goodness the animals weren't rabbits!
